Honoring the Divine Guru
Guru Poornima is a sacred festival dedicated to expressing gratitude to the Guru, the spiritual teacher who guides us from darkness to light. It is observed on the full moon day (Poornima) in the month of Ashadha (June–July).
"In Indian tradition, the Guru is regarded as Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwara – the creator, sustainer, and transformer of our inner world."
On this day, devotees worship their Guru, reflect on their spiritual journey, and renew their commitment to the path of knowledge, devotion, and service.
For Sai Baba devotees, Guru Poornima holds deep significance, as Shri Sai Baba is revered as a Sadguru — the one who leads seekers to self-realization through faith (Shraddha) and patience (Saburi).
