Navaratri (literally meaning "Nine Nights") is one of the most sacred Hindu festivals dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga in her nine divine forms. Celebrated with deep devotion and joy, Navaratri symbolizes the victory of good over evil and the awakening of divine energy (Shakti) within us.
The festival is observed through nine days of poojas, fasting, chanting, music, and dance – each day honoring a different form of the Goddess, from Durga (the protector), Lakshmi (the giver of prosperity), to Saraswati (the source of wisdom).
