Shri Rama Navami

A Sacred Celebration of Lord Rama's Birth

Shri Rama Navami is a spiritually significant Hindu festival that marks the birth of Lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Celebrated on the ninth day (Navami) of the Chaitra month, it symbolizes the victory of dharma (righteousness) over adharma (unrighteousness).

"Lord Rama, born in Ayodhya to King Dasharatha and Queen Kausalya, is revered as Maryada Purushottama – the perfect example of virtue, duty, humility, and devotion."

His life, as narrated in the Ramayana, continues to inspire millions to lead a path of truth, service, and compassion.

At Sai Baba Temples, Shri Rama Navami holds even deeper significance as it also marks the day of Sai Baba's spiritual appearance in Shirdi. Sai Baba Himself encouraged the celebration of Rama Navami, symbolizing unity among all faiths.
